The education system in Andorra is international, with three coexisting systems: the Andorran, the French and the Spanish education system. The Spanish system offers public schools and religious schools. The Principality of Andorra also has a Spanish private education institution, which offers a bilingual education (Spanish – English) , and a British private education institution.

Andorra has a high quality public health system, developed by the Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell, which has a highly recognized medical and technological reputation, as well as eleven health centres located in all major towns. Public Health authorities have agreed to cooperation agreements with the neighbouring countries (France and Spain) which allows Andorrans and Andorran residents access to international specialized treatment centres.

La Caixa Andorrana of Seguretat Social (CASS) covers medical expenses of its members. The contribution to the CASS is made mainly by employees and self-insured individuals.
